Eric C. Scheibe, PE, CFM, founded Scheibe Consulting, LLC in 2011. Prior to Scheibe Consulting, LLC, Mr. Scheibe work for Halff Associates, Inc. and the US Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District. Mr. Scheibe has design experience on federal, state, county, city and private projects throughout the State of Texas. His design experience includes general civil design, residential subdivision design, water resources, streambank stabilization, coastal engineering, site development, water/wastewater design, dam design, sediment analysis, environmental site assessments, and watershed modeling. Mr. Scheibe has obtained formal training in the use of HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS unsteady flow & 2D, SWAT, HEC-SSP, SMS (USACE multi-dimensional hydrodynamic modeling software), and TCEQ Site Evaluator Course. He has hands on experience with the HEC-RAS (steady and unsteady), HEC-HMS, HEC-SSP, HEC-FDA, ArcGIS, Global Mapper, HEC-GeoHMS, HEC-GeoRAS, XP-SWMM(2D), PC-SWMM(2D), WinStorm, and Microstation CAD.
Daniel Harris, PE, CFM, joined Scheibe Consulting, LLC in January 2017. Prior to joining Scheibe, Mr. Harris worked for Halff Associates, Inc. for 12 years. He is a civil engineer with extensive experience in water resources engineering. He has been involved in numerous hydrology and hydraulics studies throughout the state. Areas of expertise include steady and unsteady hydraulic modeling, hydrologic modeling, and GIS analysis. Types of projects he has worked on include drainage master planning, drainage design, water supply, dam projects, and floodplain studies.
Seoyoung Kim, PhD, PE began working with Scheibe Consulting, LLC in 2018. Prior to Scheibe Consulting, LLC, Dr. Kim worked for a Civil Engineering Firm in San Antonio, as well as the City of Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Kim has extensive 2D modeling, hydrodynamic modeling, sediment transport modeling, coastal circulation/wave modeling, and real-time inundation mapping for flood warning purposes. Dr. Kim is proficient with HEC-1, HEC-2, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D, Unsteady, & 2D), SMS (including CMS-WAVE & CMS-FLOW), and SWMM. Dr. Kim has assisted with several large-scale watershed studies all over the world, including physical model development, and complex hydrodynamics of the Han River through Seoul, South Korea.
Erin Hostetler, EIT, CFM began working with Scheibe Consulting, LLC in 2014. Erin has worked extensively on large-scale water resources modeling projects, coastal engineering design projects, land development design projects, and municipal drainage and roadway design projects. Erin’s versatile experience complements the full spectrum of the firms experience and capabilities. Erin has hands on experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (unsteady and 2D), InfoWork ICM (1D/2D), PC-SWMM (1D/2D), GIS, and MicroStation (GeoPack Drainage). Erin also brings years of experience with construction phase services and construction plan development.
Nicole Velarde, EIT began working with Scheibe Consulting, LLC in 2018. Nicole brings extensive experience in large-scale watershed modeling throughout the State. Noteworthly projects Nicole has worked on include the Guadalupe Blanco River Authority Flood Protection Planning Study and PMR, Nolan Creek Flood Protection Planning Study, Cameron County Drainage District #5 Flood Protection Planning Study, and the Lower Colorado River Flood Protection Planning Study. Nicole has extensive experience using GIS, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS (unsteady and 2D).
Landon Walker began work with Scheibe Consulting, LLC as an intern in 2018 and joined the firm full time in 2019. Landon has worked on numerous HEC-RAS (1D and 2D) models in Wharton Co., and has worked on design level projects including the Blanco Gardens Drainage Improvement Project, FM 1161/US 59 TxDOT Improvement Project, FM 1301 TxDOT Improvement Project, San Bernard River Levee Feasibility Study, and Bahia Grande NWR Ecosystem Restoration Project. Landon’s energy and focus brings an excellent addition to the Team.
